Csaba in numbers
Following Uganda’s exit from the African Championship of Nations last weekend, calls for the dismissal of national coach Csaba Laszlo have heightened. ROBERT MADOI peeps into the Hungarian-German’s purse and his massive pay packets.

Shs 528m - The amount of money Csaba is expected to have raked when his four-year contract with local football body FUFA comes up for renewal in 2010.

Three - Save for being the number of first-class tickets the Hungarian-German is entitled to getting from FUFA after six months, it is the highest number of goals (the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup aside) Csaba's Cranes has managed in a competitive match. That was 3-0 against Lesotho and Eritrea.

Shs 1.4m - What FUFA forks from its coffers to ensure that Csaba's progeny goes to a yet-to-be identified international school here in Kampala.

Shs 66m - The amount of money that FUFA churns yearly to ensure that Csaba sprawls in a bungalow in residential Bugolobi.

Shs 50,000 - What Csaba spends at the gas station on a weekly basis, thanks to the contract he signed with FUFA, 2006.

Shs 6.6m - The Hungarian-German's monthly salary.

Shs 115m - The mouth-watering salary packet that Csaba earned for his work in 2006. It will increase - as stipulated in his contract - by Shs 16m at the year-end.

Shs 440m - The money FUFA will have to part with to buy off the remaining two years of Csaba's contract.
