Bakayimbira play exposes corruption

Bakayimbira Dramactors were at Theatre Labonita over the weekend exposing the guys who are consuming taxpayers’ money like it is part of their job descriptions.
The play Olwendo lwa Tendo rotates around a kingdom eaten up by corruption. The Emperor (Patrick Ssembusi) does everything to spread the epidemic when he turns a deaf ear to stories that his men are corrupt.
The centre of attraction in the play is the battle for who will be queen to the emperor. Two resembling young girls (Jean Nakacwa and Farida Ndausi) are competing to become queen. The head of cultures (Benon Kibuuka) brings Ndausi who is not the right queen to the palace and tries to kill Jean but spiritual powers protect her and ends up becoming the queen and Benon and group die as they struggle to steal the position.
